Contributor Biography

Dr Mohamad M. Saab is a Lecturer at University College Cork (UCC), School of Nursing and Midwifery. Previously, he worked as a Staff/ Oncology Nurse (2008-2011), Palliative Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner (2011-2013), and Lecturer and Clinical Instructor (2013-2014). He holds a BSc in Nursing (2005-2008) and MSc in Advanced Practice Nursing (2009-2013) from the American University of Beirut and a PhD in Nursing by publication (eight publications) (2014-2017) from UCC. Dr Saab also holds a Postgraduate Certificate (2016-2017) and Postgraduate Diploma (2017-2018) in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. He is a Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health. Dr Saab is research active in a number of areas including: men’s health promotion, cancer survivorship, and palliative care. He also serves as editor in the International Journal of Men’s Social and Community Health and reviewer in the Journal of Advanced Nursing, Nursing Research, Cancer Nursing, and Psycho-oncology.
