Dr Attracta Lafferty is a Research Fellow at the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems, University College Dublin. With funding from the Health Research Board Emerging Investigator Award, Attracta is Principal Investigator on a four year research project which aims to develop a workplace-based programme to promote the health and self-care of family carers who combine paid work with caregiving responsibilities for a relative requiring care due to a disability, ageing or chronic illness.
