Alanna is Senior Marcomms Executive at F1000. She obtained a BSc in Zoology from the University of Durham and assisted with cheetah conservation and land rehabilitation projects in Africa. Then she experimented with art infused science events and educational activities during her Masters in Science Communication at Imperial College London. From 2014 to 2017, Alanna worked as part of the Communications team at BioMed Central by blogging and coordinating media activity around published research.
